The Silo IoT user scenario is a solution in which sensors permanently measure the fill level of a silo in order to place orders more quickly and efficiently. The automated process eliminates administrative work and creates many benefits for the farmer.

A dispatcher usually does not know when farmers call and order their feed. Often, these orders arrive much too late and the dispatcher has to reschedule planned tours. With Silo IoT, the dispatcher can actively contact customers. Without time pressure, the conversation is calm and goal-oriented. -
Dispatching in the course of the week
The dispatcher always strives to utilize his fleet as evenly as possible. Around the weekend and holidays, the utilization is usually higher than in the middle of the week (Wednesday hole). By actively designing the mixed feed tours, so-called late orderers can be targeted, thus avoiding cost-intensive Saturday work. This means less tours to reschedule for the dispatcher and improved material planning- this saves cash! -
Optimization of set-up times in the feed mill.
Cooperatives with their own feed production have another advantage as a result of more uniform scheduling. Above all, the optimization of set-up times in the mill leads to improved mill efficiency.

Small apps with big power!
Another scenario in which Power Apps streamline processes and speed up communication channels can also be found in the vehicle parts trade.
A subsidiary of a well-known car manufacturer, recycles vehicles that are not saleable, and also dismantles some of these vehicles, for further use of parts. The dismantled parts are stored and resold after being checked for quality and function. When adding donor vehicles, it makes sense to work with an app to simplify and automate the inventory process. This makes filling out countless forms and pieces of paper a thing of the past.
When adding the vehicle to the inventory, employees can use a smartphone to perform the initial visual inspection. The specialist also has the option of scanning the vehicle model and storing images of the car. These can in turn be stored directly in the archive. The employees are guided through the acceptance process with the help of the app and all relevant information is documented digitally and paperless.
Accelerate and simplify communication channels
Users can store notes on a process, which are then sent directly to the relevant colleagues by e-mail via a workflow. Data can also be automatically transferred when adding several cars via a delivery bill, thus avoiding redundant work.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Artificial intelligence (AI) is used to analyze and interpret data and identify patterns in it. The goal is to emulate certain human decision-making criteria so that AI-supported software can independently process problems and provide decision-making support.
Machine Learning - Learning from experience
Machine learning is a category of artificial intelligence. It is understood to mean the artificial generation of knowledge from experience. This means that an artificial system learns from use cases and can generalize them once the learning phase is complete. IT systems are thus able to find solutions to problems independently – simply by recognizing patterns in existing data sets.
The result is a statistical model built by algorithms and based on training data. Since the systems do not learn the examples by heart, but discover patterns in the learning data, they are also able to assess unknown data.
Virtual Reality - Visualization of new worlds
VirtualReality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) are two technologies that work on the basis of artificial intelligence. Most often, they come into play with the use of VR and AR glasses. AR glasses superimpose information about objects in the real world in front of the eyes, while VR glasses display a completely virtual world. Both technologies have evolved greatly in recent years and are already being used in a variety of ways. The glasses enable complex content to be displayed visually and to be experienced as a result. Even large amounts of information can be made available quickly and easily.
One example of the use of VR glasses is to assist with bathroom design – usually a large investment. Currently, customers still receive the room designs as 3D drawings. With VR glasses, this can be presented even more realistically. Thanks to the sensors and cameras, the glasses can virtually recreate the bathroom one-to-one, thus enabling a better 3D representation. Short commands can be used to change the interior design and smaller details such as color, etc.. This makes it possible to put together a bathroom that gives a more realistic impression of the final result.
